Conor McGregor may have defeated him on one leg but there's no doubt Max Holloway's comeback from that loss has been very impressive. At 23, Holloway became the youngest fighter to reach ten UFC victories in Saskatoon, Canada last night with a TKO victory over Charles Oliveira.
Holloway has been shooting back up the featherweight rankings and this latest win is sure to put him in the Edgar/Mendes category of fighters waiting on the outcome of McGregor vs Aldo in December.
While the Hawaii native will be delighted to get another victory under his belt, the manner of the win may be a bit of a disappointment. It was shaping up to be a stellar fight between two of the division's rising stars but it was over as soon as it started as a seemingly innocuous moment resulted in serious injury for the Brazilian.
As things stand, there has been no official diagnosis for Oliveira's injury. However, pictures from the aftermath of the event showed that he was in quite a bit of discomfort.

Thankfully, confirmation came during the post event press conference that he was 'alert' and 'able to move all his extremities'.
