Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber have had their differences.
There was the infamous run-in backstage at the UFC 189 weigh-ins, before the UFC decided to pit the pair against each other as mentor's in this season of The Ultimate Fighter. But even Faber is getting caught up in the Conor McGregor whirlwind, after his stunning victory at UFC 194. In the post event press conference, Faber outlined that he's grown to appreciate McGregor despite their differences, and has a lot of respect for him.

When asked if he can admit if he likes Conor following his guy's victory at the Ultimate Fighter, Faber was effusive in his praise for the newly crowned UFC champion:
(Laughs), yeah I like Conor - Conor's a good guy. We actually had some good times in Vegas.
Not that he can't get on your nerves. But, I enjoy his mindset - he's a special guy. Man, I feel for Aldo, what a great champion. You know, hopefully he gets his chance, I think Frankie's up next, but hopefully he gets his chance for redemption.
But you can't argue with Conor, dude - the mystic Mac.
It's been a long time since their standoff in the halls at UFC 189.
