The Notorious Conor McGregor has been the talk of the MMA World again this week after a quite brilliant interview aired in which he made Urijah Faber realise that his quick-witted smack talking is on another level to any other fighter out there.
But that wasn't Conor's only interview last week, as speaking on the possibility of moving up a division, McGregor claimed that the opponents one weight class above him have nothing that could trouble him:
Rafael (Dos Anjos) has nothing; Donald (Cerrone) has nothing. Rafael will be lucky to make six figures this fight, and rightfully so. He shouldn’t even make six figures because he doesn’t even bring in six figures. Donald will probably scrape six figures because he shows up and fights every couple weeks, and he earns that six figures. But he don’t earn much more than that.
One person who was less than impressed with that evaluation was the increasingly popular Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone, and he quickly took to twitter to issue a stern warning to the Irishman.
Just focus on your task at hand @TheNotoriousMMA you do realize you have to see me face to face in 2 days
— Cowboy Cerrone (@Cowboycerrone) September 3, 2015
It will be interesting to see if it all kicks off later in the week when the two come face to face. Cowboy has said before that he has no problem with McGregor's antics, so long as he doesn't try to involve him. Lets see how this plays out.
