Dana White has never been particularly cordial in his dealings with the MMA media. Just recently he called Ariel Helwani, one of the most prominent members of the MMA media, 'full of shit' over a report which eventually turned out to be true.
@arielhelwani you are full of shit and guilty of click baiting too.

On Saturday night, via Twitter, White once again took a swipe at a journalist.
This time it was at Bleacher Report's Jeremy Botter.
During an appearance on Off The Ball on Friday night - to speak about his belief that Conor McGregor wants to make a Floyd Mayweather-style move and starting promoting his own fights - Botter made a claim about the relationship between the Dubliner and Dana White.
Asked by Colm Parkinson how relations were between McGregor and the UFC, Botter labeled them 'icy', while also, in keeping with the wintery language, declared that the UFC president has been 'frozen out' by the featherweight champion.
I believe that things between Conor and Lorenzo Fertitta are okay but, from what I understand, Dana White has been frozen out of the process entirely and I don't know why.
There was going to come a point where, they've created this and now they can't put it back in the cage.
They went out and they were his best friends - you've seen the video of Dana driving in the Ferrari down the [Vegas] strip and they're hanging out at his house here in Vegas when he was training here last summer.
They thought they had a new best friend but what they actually had was a guy that wanted to be their business partner instead of an independent contractor who just takes what they give him.
Botter has proven himself in the past to be a reliable source. He was first to break news of McGregor vs dos Anjos at UFC 197.
Still, White described Botter as a 'weirdo' while also questioning his journalistic credentials.
This weirdo "journalist" keeps putting out BULLSHIT about me and Conor. I have no issues with Conor what so ever! Scumbags Lookin for clicks
