That Conor McGregor will be in action at UFC 200 on July 9th is almost certain.
In an interview with ESPN radio, Dana White admitted as much.
The question is, who will McGregor face? The most likely options are a rematch with Jose Aldo or a first bout with Frankie Edgar. Regarding the latter, the UFC president called it 'the fight fans want to see'.
Rumours on Sunday suggested that McGregor had turned down another possible rematch - one with Nate Diaz. Those rumours apparently emerged from a source close to the Diaz camp.
On Twitter, Dana White denied that McGregor had turned down the fight.
@t0iny @TheNotoriousMMA @NateDiaz209 @ufc @John_Kavanagh that's a lie. Conor DOES NOT turn down fights.

Also, speaking to a TMZ reporter recently, the Dubliner - who shows remarkable restraint when accosted by these lads - said that a rematch with Diaz, at some point, does interest him.
I think I'd like to see that. It's one that interests me, most certainly.
When I look at the fight, I was winning the fight. I won the first round... I'd love to get that one back.
