If UFC light-heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier was looking to win his opponent and arch-nemesis Jon Jones up ahead of their clash at UFC 214 next week, then he has succeeded.
Whether or not it has any impact on the fight whatsoever remains to be seen, but it's clear that Cormier has triggered Jon Jones with his latest bit of social media activity, as he posted to Instagram a collage of Jones' sniping comments on his previous posts, claiming that the former champ is obsessed.
This did not go down well with Jones.
He quickly took to Twitter to give Cormier a piece of his mind, and then hours later returned to offer more of his thoughts.
Clearly, his legs are a sensitive subject.
It's going to be interesting to see if DC can finally manage to get the win he so badly wants, but if he does it will be thanks to a near perfect gameplan rather than sick burns on Instagram, as despite his wild antics in the past, only a controversial DQ has stopped Jon Jones from dealing with everything put in his way in the Octagon. Including Cormier.
