Gaunt was the word on the lips of many viewers of Friday's weigh-ins for UFC 194.
In particular, it was being used to describe Conor McGregor.
The Dubliner is a big featherweight. Walking around, day-to-day - in non-fight mode - he probably tips the scales at somewhere between 170 - 175lbs.
The cut to the featherweight limit of 145lbs is an extreme one for him. It is an ordeal which he has often spoken about with disdain.
Come fight time on Saturday, McGregor will look a man transformed from the sunken-cheeked individual of Friday. He could put on somewhere in the region of 25lbs.
Seven times McGregor has made the cut to featherweight in the UFC, an unsustainable torment he will likely not endure much longer. One more fight, perhaps, before he makes a move up to lightweight and the slightly easier mark of 155lbs.
Here, we've ranked the gauntness of the 27-year-old for every one of his seven UFC weigh-ins so far.
