Conor McGregor will be featured in the upcoming Call of Duty game "Infinite Warfare", Activision announced yesterday.

It's another sign of his ridiculous and seemingly endless marketability. McGregor, who is the highest paid fighter in the UFC should be set for another payday following the news - but its not confirmed what his role will be. He will be joined in the new game by another famous name - Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow in Game of Thrones. Harrington's role is known - he will be the leader of the evil organisation known as the SDF (Settlement Defense Front).
The 13th instalment in the Call of Duty franchise will be released on the 4th of November, and it hopes that the presence of McGregor - who helped make UFC 202 his third PPV event to reach over 1 million buys - will help beat the previous Call of Duty record sales of $500 million in the first 24 hours. By comparison - the highest grossing movie of all time - Stars Wars the Force Awakens took in 'just' $248 million on its opening weekend.
Onwards and upwards for McGregor.
