Conor McGregor put in a dominant performance against Max Holloway on Saturday night, this was despite, as it has now been revealed, tearing his ACL during the second round of the fight.
President of the UFC, Dana White, told Fox Sports Live late last night that McGregor has sustained a knee injury which should keep him out of action for ten months.

McGregor had said during his post fight interview that he felt his knee pop during the fight but no one really suspected that the injury was this bad.
The Dubliner still seems in decent spirits despite the news, tweeting this morning "I celebrate adversity" and that the comeback will be "EASY!!!!".
I celebrate adversity. Congratulations. Your favourite fighter is safe. For 10 months. #AintNothing I'll do it on my back. EASY!!!!
