Filling perhaps the Conor McGregor shaped hole in the UFC, Khabib Nurmagomedov seems to be impressing a fair few fight fans.
25-0 and in my opinion the best lightweight in the world. @TeamKhabib is the elite of the elite. Another dominant performance. #UFC219https://t.co/7wWT0RM5Bk

That is, all but McGregor himself.
That Dagestani was dog shit the other night you's are all nuts. Game full of sloppy bums asking to be slept. Pay me my worth and Kings back.

Taking to Twitter in an effort to begin the new year as he ended the last, the Dubliner has come out ranting and raving.
It's been over a year now since McGregor fought within the UFC, a fairly well-documented boxing match with Floyd Mayweather separating that 2016 fight with Eddie Alvarez.
Yet, with many wondering what it is that McGregor will do next, he has hinted - well, there wasn't too much subtlety about it - at what it will take for him to return to the UFC
Truly truly truly get on your fucking knees and beg me. Otherwise I don't give a bollox.
My whiskey is out this year and thats Diddy bread.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) January 1, 2018
Imploring the UFC paymasters to beg for his return, it seems that his move into the whiskey market leaves him not giving "a bollox" either way.
And that's Diddy bread on top of already Diddy bread.

Now get your Diddy's out and beg.

Money and some humility then are what McGregor requires.
With UFC fans undoubtedly keen to see the Irish fighter return sooner rather than later, the performances of fighters like Nurmagomedov is likely to sate their hunger for a conquering star.
Whether 2018 sees McGregor return to the UFC, fight Manny Pacquiao or live off the proceeds of an emergent distillery, he's sure to let you know about it anyway.
