October 6th will more than likely be the biggest day in the history of the UFC, at least from a financial standpoint. Conor McGregor will take on current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in Las Vegas for UFC 229, in what is being billed as the most lucrative fight in the company's history.
There hasn't been the build up you would usually expect of a UFC bout, not least one concerning Conor McGregor, but on the Notorious' Instagram account today, the Dubliner has begun to stir the shit the run up to the October showdown.
The 30-year-old has picked a questionable target for his dig however, having a go at Khabib Nurmagomedov's father Abdulmanap, writing: 'Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov I can see you. Cowering behind fake respect. Just like your middle child. A quivering coward'.
The picture McGregor has used is from the infamous bus incident last April in the Barclays centre befor UFC 223 when McGregor stormed the building and attacked the vehicle that Nurmagomedov was in.
Of course it's not the first time McGregor has had a go at one of his opponents' father, famously becoming involved in a spat with Floyd Mayweather Snr. in the build up to his son's fight against the Crumlin native.
The ball is in your court Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.
