In the days following the announcement of Nate Diaz as Rafael dos Anjos' to face Conor McGregor at UFC 196, Frankie Edgar was unhappy with Dana White's assertion that he had turned down the chance to fight McGregor.
The reality: Edgar had a groin injury which prevented him from taking the fight.
That doesn't matter to Conor McGregor.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani, the Dubliner had a message for Edgar regarding his attitude.
Quit whinin', quit complainin', quit having your manager talk for you and get in and make interest because there's no real interest for me to fight.
There's so many much bigger fighters. I need a guy to make noise; not to complain and whine. That's what I hear from that whole camp.
