Conor McGregor was back in court in New York on Thursday.

McGregor agreed a plea deal stemming from charges following a melee at a UFC media event at the Barclay's Center in New York.

The 30-year-old had all felony charges dismissed but has been sentenced to five days community service. He will also have to take part in an anger management programme.

The Dubliner has also paid for damage caused to a bus.

There were also three protections orders served against McGregor, two of them by UFC fighters Ray Borg and Michael Chiesa. McGregor is not allowed near either until July 2020.

Back in April, McGregor and members of his entourage attacked a bus carrying UFC fighters.

Cian Cowley, who was part of the group which attacked the bus, was sentenced to three days community service. He will also take part in an anger management programme.

Today's proceedings will not affect McGregor's ability to travel to the US.
