It's not often that Conor McGregor is lost for words but he certainly was when speaking about the late Brendan McGlone with Michael Landsberg on TSN's Off the Record.
14-year-old Brendan, from Tyrone, lost his battle with leukaemia on Monday.
It is with a very very heavy Heart that I have to say our little angel Brendan lost his battle tonight with Cancer and past away peacefully.

Brendan was a big sports fan, and during his time in hospital received visits from Paddy Barnes, Peter Canavan and Tommy Bowe.
He also spent time talking to Conor McGregor by phone and the featherweight had promised to visit Brendan once back in Ireland.
Sadly, Brendan passed away before the two could meet in person.
