Backstage, before Conor McGregor made his way to tip the scales ahead of UFC 194, Jose Aldo's supporters attempted to rile the Dubliner with chants of 'uh vai morrer'.
That's Portuguese for 'you're going to die', the same phrase McGregor uttered on the featherweight title holder on stage during the first face-off of their world tour back in March.
A still energetic McGregor maintained his composure.
After weigh-in, it was a little bit different. As McGregor once again made his way backstage, fans continued with the chants. The zen Dubliner we saw earlier in the week at the press conference momentarily disappeared as Aldo supporters got the reaction they desired.
It was a response from McGregor which is wholly understandable. Any person devoid of hydration and full of hunger as he was, given his preparation for the weigh-in, is going to be irritable.
