The Irish invasion on Madison Square Garden is set to continue in June as exciting SBG talent James Gallagher will feature on a massive Bellator event in the historic arena.
In the past six months we've seen Conor McGregor, Mick Conlan, and Katie Taylor all fight, and win, at MSG and now it will be Gallagher's turn as the news was confirmed on The MMA Hour on Monday evening.

The Strabanimal is undefeated as a pro with a record of 6-0, and is coming off of a a first-round submission victory over Kirill Medvedovsky in Belfast last month.
He will be fighting Chinzo Machida on June 24th, the older brother of former UFC champion Lyoto Machida, who is on a four-fight win-streak himself. The rescheduled fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Matt Mitrione and Chael Sonnen vs Wanderlei Silva will also feature on the night which will no doubt draw the attention of the MMA world.
Gallagher took to Instagram to express his joy at the confirmation coming through and his excitement at being able to compete at such an historic venue.
Bellator president Scott Coker was on The MMA Hour this week and he dropped the news which surprised Ariel Helwani. With Gallagher's public beef with AJ McKee, many had expected that to be his next fight, but seemingly that will be pursued at a later date.
Exciting times. We can't wait for this one.
