UFC Fight Night 88 took place in Las Vegas on Sunday.
After a card overpouring with decisions, Cody Garbrandt's right hand lit up the night in the main event.
Going into the fight, his opponent Thomas Almeida was ranked seventh in the bantamweight division - he was also unbeaten in his 20-fight MMA career. Garbrandt was not ranked at all. You may remember Almeida from that stunning flying knee KO of Brad Pickett on the night Conor McGregor beat Chad Mendes last summer.
Less than three minutes into the first round, Garbrandt flattened Almeida with a brutal right hand.
Dudes. Cody Garbrandt is real. God dang.

It was a gunfight and Almeida just got overwhelmed. Outstanding performance from Garbrandt.

Here's the KO.
Referee John McCarthy really tosses Garbradt like a rag doll once he knew the fight was over.
