"McGregor Was Right" - Cody Garbrandt Lays Into TJ Dillashaw On New Series Of TUF

The new series of The Ultimate Fighter kicked off last night and it's absolutely packed with familiar faces as 'Redemption' is the theme of the season with every fighter involved having previously appeared on the show.

That includes the coaches Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw, who both managed to go from being a TUF contestant to a UFC champion.

Garbrandt is the holder of the UFC bantamweight title right now, and the beef between both fighters was no secret ahead of the first episode, where we saw exactly why there is such bad blood. It didn't take long for Conor McGregor's infamous 'snake in the grass' insult towards TJ Dillashaw to pop-up again as Cody admitted that the Irishman was right in what he said on season 22.

But he didn't stop there.

We won't go into too much detail about the first episode of the new series for those who were unable to catch it late last night, but if you're a fan of The Ultimate Fighter, you'll enjoy it.

It's still the same format, where Dana White sits in front of a camera trying to sell you a show that you've already committed to watching, before spending the rest of the episode hyping up a fight with both fighters and coaches absolutely sure they will win.

There are some unquestionably talented fighters on the show this year, so it should make for a decent watch especially with Garbrandt and Dillashaw at each others throats from the word go.
