Conor McGregor submitted to Khabib Nurmagomedov in the 4th round of his comeback fight at UFC 229 in Las Vegas earlier this morning, and incredibly, this isn't even close to the story.

Immediately after the submission, Khabib jumped out of the Octagon and attacked McGregor team member Dillon Danis, while inside, McGregor was punched by at least two men, one of whom came from outside.

Following the chaos that ensued, which included Dana White refusing to present Khabib with his belt in the Octagon due to fears that the 20,000 inside the T-Mobile Arena would riot at the site.

Considering what was the follow, it appears that decision was a shrewd move by White. Unfortunately, it wasn't something that completely diffused the situation among the fans of both fighters and there were skirmishes and clashes both inside and outside the arena in the aftermath.
