After his TKO defeat to Conor McGregor at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Chad Mendes spoke to Joe Rogan.
The American had major praise for the Irish fans in the arena and expressed a little bit of jealousy regarding the support which those travelling from Ireland gave Conor McGregor and the other Irish fighters on the UFC 189 card.
What's awesome is, these Irish guys [the crowd] are crazy. I absolutely love it. I wish we had so much support like this with everyone here.
It's unbelievable to see you guys show so much support for your athletes.
This is just completely awesome for me. This is the biggest fight in UFC history and I got to come in here and be a part of it.
It's just something that I'm never going to forget in my life.
