When Cathal Pendred defeated Augusto 'Dodger' Montano in Mexico City at UFC 188 to move to a 4-0 record in the UFC, you would think that people would finally start giving him some credit.
Unfortunately, due to the rather underwhelming nature of the fight (thanks mostly to Pendred's opponent who showed almost no desire to fight whatsoever) the Irishman is still taking some stick on social media.
Pendred admitted himself that he was disappointed with his performance, but his effort in Mexico did earn him one very famous local fan... Former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez.

That is actually quite strange.
Javier Hernandez favourites a Cathal Pendred comment from April where Pendred slammed Thierry Henry for critising Chicharito's celebration in the Champions League quarter final against Atletico?
This means that either:
1) Javier Hernandez is still bitter about Henry's comments and is going around favouriting comments that talk shit about Henry.
2) Javier Hernandez liked Pendred's style at UFC 188 and then checked out his twitter bio where he saw a comment defending him against Henry and gave it a like.
3) Chicharito wants to be mates with Cathal Pendred because he knows that The Punisher is 4-0 and on an unstoppable run to the title and he needs a spot on the bandwagon nice and early.
