Cathal Pendred was on Ray D'Arcy's show on Today FM this morning after his win at UFC Dublin last Saturday night but the interview wasn't all high fives and pats on the back as D'Arcy questioned him about a sport he described as 'unbridled violence.'
The Today FM presenter told Pendred that he found the end of Conor McGregor's fight 'very disturbing' and asked him – 'a bright man' – how he feels about people paying money to watch him and someone else fight.
Whether D'Arcy has a valid point or not he takes away from it by referring to Pendred as 'Conor' on more than one occasion; although it was a texter who got wrong the first time.

RTÉ's soccer correspondent Tony O'Donoghue also got a hard time on Twitter Saturday night when he tweeted criticism of the sport.
