Max Holloway has been deemed medically unfit for Saturday's UFC 223 contest and is no longer participating in the main event.
Holloway, who was a last-minute replacement for Tony Ferguson, was due to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov. It is reported Holloway's absence is not related to yesterday's incident. Holloway was unable to make weight and although he was keen to keep going, doctors stood in to stop it.
. @TeamKhabib my brother I want to keep going but they are stopping me. Sorry to your team and the fans. You don’t deserve this. This is number one. Shout outs to you and @Showtimepettis . Give the fans what they deserve

Three different fights had been canceled as a result of yesterday's Conor McGregor rampage. Michael Chiesa was injured because of broken glass. Ray Borg vs Brandon Moreno was also canceled after Borg suffered an eye injury as a result of glass shattering.
Early reports suggest Anthony Pettis may fight Nurmagomedov. Pettis was due to fight Michael Chiesa on the card prior to that cancellation. The 31-year-old was then left without an opponent. It is as of yet unknown who Nurmagomedov will face.
