Just a reminder of what's to come should Conor McGregor ever get his wish to bring a headline fight to Croke Park.
Michael Bisping will defend his middleweight title in a rematch with Dan Henderson in Bisping's hometown in Manchester.
Bisping and Henderson 2 will be the headline fight of UFC 204 which will be on October 8th. The UFC has yet to formally announce the fight, but Bisping has confirmed that the details on his Sirius XM radio show 'The Countdown'.
According to Ariel Helwani, the main event is scheduled to take place at 5 am local time to accomodate the North American viewers. Which makes sense given that it is the largest TV market that the UFC needs to cater for, but is a blow to UFC fans here who wanted to benefit from having a headline fight in our timezone. It's also a hint as to what would happen should an event ever happen in Croke Park. It's hard to see residents agree to that, but that's another days problem.
The UFC is expected to announce the details in the coming days at a pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas ahead of UFC 202.
