According to reports, Daniel Cormier is out of the UFC 197 main event with a leg injury.
Cormier was due to defend his light heavyweight belt against former champion Jon Jones on April 23rd.
Initially reported by BJPenn.com, the news has since been confirmed by ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

The UFC has not yet issued any statement regarding the fight.
Previous to Cormier's injury, the headline fight had already been put in jeopardy by Jon Jones' latest run-in with the law.
There are now two possibilities: the UFC finds a replacement opponent for Jones or the fight is rescheduled. The latter would seem more likely, especially with UFC 200 looming and there being a gap for a co-main event. Both McGregor vs Diaz 2 along with a Jose Aldo vs Frankie Edgar interim title fight have already been confirmed for July 9th. A light heavyweight title bout between Jones and Cormier would certainly create that 'mind blowing' card which Dana White has spoken about.
The co-main event for UFC 197 is currently a title fight between flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo. That could be bumped up to main event, though there would certainly be doubts regarding its ability to carry a pay-per-view card.
