UFC president Dana White has confirmed that should Conor McGregor defeat Denis Siver in 16 days then he will get a shot at featherweight title holder Jose Aldo, possibly at Croke Park.
The Brazilian has defended his title seven times since becoming the organisation's first featherweight belt holder just over four years ago. His most recent defence, against Chad Mendes at UFC 179, was one of the best fights of 2014. After that bout, Aldo referred to McGregor as the "joker" of the division.
Shortly after the confirmation was made, Jose Aldo posted this on Instagram.
A pretty unambiguous statement on his plans for the Dubliner.
