Conor McGregor earned a lot of respect despite his 10th round TKO loss to Floyd Mayweather on Saturday night, although not everyone has been kind to the Irishman after he failed to deliver on his promise of leaving the boxing icon with a pro record of 49-1.
We saw Jose Aldo mocking McGregor on Instagram - despite that being pretty bloody rich for a man that was flatlined in 13 seconds - and other McGregor haters were quick to show how happy they were with the outcome of the fight... But current UFC employee Snoop Dogg is not someone we expected to see mocking the organisation's star attraction following his loss.
And yet, that is exactly what we saw. Snoop Dogg is a co-commentator on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series, but he was on Team Mayweather at the weekend and after Floyd won he published a video absolutely trashing McGregor.
That did not go down with UFC fighter Alan Jouban, who posted Snoop's video to Instagram and asked Dana White why the company were paying a man who has so little respect for the fighters.
He's certainly got a point.
Snoop is allowed to support whoever he wants, but that reaction video was ridiculous. He's been brought into Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender series to offer co-commentary alongside Urijah Faber, where he has shown that he knows utterly nothing about the sport.
Alan Jouban is coming off back to back losses which saw him drop out of the rankings in the Welterweight division, but is still one of more entertaining fighters in the organisation and clearly cares a lot about how the fighters are treated.
