In an interview with the Sunday World, Gark Cook, who is head of the UFC in Europe, said that talks have taken place regarding the possibility of a Conor McGregor title fight against Jose Aldo being held at either Croke Park or the Aviva.
Talks have taken place over the prospect of hiring Croke Park or the Aviva Stadium for a possible world title fight against the Brazilian champion Jose Aldo next summer.
After McGregor's victory over Diego Brandao at the O2 during the summer, Dana White said that it would be "crazy not to try an outdoor stadium in Ireland". It now sounds like the UFC is serious about that pledge.
The Dubliner's next fight is against Denis Siver in Boston on January 18th.
