With all the media hype over Jose Aldo vs Conor McGregor at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on July 11th, it's easy to forget that another absolutely massive fight is taking place immediately before The Notorious gets his crack at the UFC featherweight title.
The co-main event of UFC 189 is a mouth-watering rematch with the welterweight title on the line as Robbie Lawler defends his belt against Rory McDonald, having beaten the Canadian via split decision back in 2013.
As McGregor and Aldo travel the World and tell each other that they are going to die, McDonald and Lawler enjoy a more tranquil relationship, and this was most evident in an hilarious interview video with a Canadian journalist by the name of Paul Lemieux where the fighters were encouraged to finally talk some shit.
It's going to be a great fight for sure, and these scathing comments will only add fuel to the fire.
