As a result of social distancing and the news of the last few weeks numerous fundraising drives by charities across the country have been cancelled indefinitely.
The needs of these charities has done anything but, and now more than ever they need your help and donations. Balls.ie will highlight the new ways you can donate on a regular basis over the next few weeks.
Today we want to bring you news of World Down Syndrome Day which is on March 21st - there were events planned everywhere to celebrate it and one such event was Celebrate Your Superheroes.

Our main event which was due to take place on March 21st to celebrate WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY had to be postponed but we are still trying to mark the day with the only alternative- virtual fundraising through Go Fund Me.
We are raising money for Down Syndrome Cork and The Down Syndrome Centre in Cork. Our target is 7k as there are 7,000 people in Ireland with Down Syndrome ....and we feel they are worth celebrating. We were hoping our event would make up the balance of our fundraising efforts but now we need to change that up....and we need help!!
