Former Ireland and Ulster flanker Stephen Ferris has had his say on who Ireland should start on the wings when they go to Twickenham to face England Saturday week in Round 4 of the Six Nations.
The battle for the two winger spots are heating up with the return of James Lowe to the starting lineup with two tries against Italy. Mack Hansen as well put in a good shift last Sunday and has impressed a lot since coming into the Ireland squad. He scored a great try against France and was named man of the match on debut against Wales in the Six Nations opener.
And the winner of #GuinnessSixNations try of the round is... 🥁 Mack Hansen! 👏

However Stephen Ferris, who was speaking with Balls on the Buildup in association with Ladbrokes said Lowe may be the better option on the left as his kicking may be better strategically against England.
I think James Lowe with the left boot option exits better will really help, especially when you look at the exit strategy away in Paris, it didn't really get out of town that well and I think James Lowe will help with that especially drilling the ball really long because at times he really does send it and Ireland's kick chase can get after it.
For the other spot Ferris went for Andrew Conway. The Munster winger has been one of Andy Farrell's favourite and he has backed it up with outstanding displays in the win over the All Blacks, a hattrick against Japan and two tries against Wales. He's a solid hand and the England game is likely to be a cagy affair so maybe Conway will be the better choice
I (also) think Andrew Conway will be straight back in for the England game. He just adds more stability and experience as well in games.
Competition always bring the best out of players and it will be hard to complain which any two of the three plays against England since they're all on top form.
