The draw for the second round of the All-Ireland hurling qualifiers was made on Morning Ireland on Monday.
The draw is:
Clare vs Wexford
Tipperary vs Cork
Dates and venues for the games, which will be played this coming weekend, will be announced later on Monday.
The winners of those two matches will face the provincial runners-up in a fortnight's time.
The Clare and Wexford game is particularly intriguing as it pits Clare All-Ireland winning teammates Brian Lohan and Davy Fitzgerald against each other. There has been bad blood between the two for many years. The Lohan-managed Clare got the better of the Fitzgerald-managed Wexford in the National League back in February with a 0-18 to 0-15 win.
Clare beat Laois by a point in the first round of the qualifiers at the weekend after losing to Limerick in the Munster quarter-final. Wexford were beaten by Galway in the Leinster semi-final.
Cork play for a third consecutive weekend against Tipperary. They beat Dublin at the weekend having lost out to Waterford in the Munster semi-final a week previous. Reigning All-Ireland champions Tipperary playing the qualifiers after losing to Limerick in the other Munster semi-final.
