The championship is officially back, with the delayed 2020 edition in full swing after two games in the Leinster and Munster Senior Hurling Championships over the weekend.
Dublin came out comfortable winners over Laois last night, while Limerick had an equally routine victory over Clare this evening. John Kiely's side were a bit sloppy in the opening half, but they emerged as convincing winners after notching a remarkable 0-21 in the second half.
The final 35 minutes of the game did lack a bit of excitement at times, but things were kicked up another gear after the final whistle.
The always brilliant Conor Sketches (otherwise known as Conor Moore) provided The Sunday Game with his first sketch of the championship season, and it did not disappoint.
It featured all of the usual suspects, with the introduction of John Maughan and Ciaran Whelan an added bonus.
John Maughan is in great shape, Dalo is happy to have hurling back, Ger is late and Mícheál brings a message of, eh, negativity. Great to hear from @ConorSketches.

The Anthony Daly impression is incredible, and it's even appreciated by the man himself.
When asked what he thought of it on-air, Daly said he was delighted as it managed to knock a bit of weight off him.
Dalo on @ConorSketches's impression of him: 'In fairness, he takes about a stone-and-a-half off me.' pic.twitter.com/iry5aJ4NFc

We're hoping to see plenty more of this over the course of the championship.
