Today was the 2018 Leopardstown Student Race as the course opened up to the nation's University attendants.
The Spin 1038 Student Races was originally set to take place two weeks ago but was postponed due to the weather. While the going was heavy, on the course it was a good day for 21-time Champion trainer Dermot Weld who won the opening two races with Jaega and Khalaab.
However, one particular race saw an unusual interruption, as two racegoers visibly raced across the back of the field, shortly followed by some racing stewards.
