Earlier today we brought you the tweets and photos as RTÉ commentator and GameOn presenter Hugh Cahill turned up to Leopardstown racecourse dressed as Eddie Izzard after he made a bet with twitter which quickly backfired, but it seems that his colleagues at RTÉ were very keen to ensure that everybody watching at home could have a giggle at his expense too.
In a live interview, Cahill again explained why he was dressed as Eddie Izzard, complete with lipstick, and offered a reminder of the dangers of frivolous betting tweets when you've got 5,000+ followers, many of them with the power to draw attention to any promises that had been made.
