The Galway races have passed the half way stage but the craic is still in full swing with thousands more racegoers expected to descend on the Ballybrit racecourse over the weekend.
However, the highlight of the festival so far has come from the longest-serving racegoer in Galway, as a 96-year-old member of the racecourse's horse won a race.
AtTheRaces interviewed him before the race began but when the horse - named Perfect Soldier - came home in first place, the racing channel were straight back over to get his thoughts on the astonishing victory.
It happened at yesterdays Tote.com Maiden at 18:50 when the horse came home at 5/1 for any other lucky punters out there who managed to have a few quid on the winner.
If this does not put a smile on your face, we don't know what will.
