Another weekend means another stellar assortment of Irish racing to run the rule over.

With thanks to our friends at Ladbrokes. we've picked out three horses that could play starring roles throughout this weekend's meetings at the Curragh and Tramore.

The Curragh - Saturday 2.35

Lancaster House will be well fancied by many to repeat last year’s victory in the Gladness Stakes at 2.35 but it could be worth taking him on with Johnny Murtagh’s Know It All (3/1). She was consistently improving all last season, including a very creditable fourth at Irish Champions Weekend.

If she continues improving as a four year old, and even if she doesn’t get her head in front here, she will be well worth following for the season ahead.

TIP: Know It All 3/1

The Curragh - Saturday 3.10

The Alleged Stakes at 3.10 looks to be Broome’s for the taking after a comprehensive beating of a number of these at Naas three weeks ago. However, the price of 8/13 doesn't represent value.

So, an each way alternative is Bowerman (14/1) who is one of the few not involved in the Naas race but instead has been globetrotting with a Group 2 win in Doha to his name. He has been a star for trainer Ado McGuinness and looks sure to run his race again here which will be hard to keep him out of the first three.

TIP: Bowerman 14/1

Tramore - Sunday 4.20

There are a host of eye-catching runners here including the two 13yos Nearly Nama’d and Bellgrove who both have slipped to attractive handicap marks but the selection goes to Jack Holiday who produced an improved display to win at Tipperary last time in first time cheek pieces.

TIP: Jack Holiday

They are retained today and a 6lb rise in the weights looks manageable leaving him all set for another big run.
