At Naas on Monday, David Fitzpatrick was responsible for what he called an 'appalling' ride.
In the 3.25, he finished eight of twelve runners aboard 'Roryslittlesister' and today ended up with a 21-day ban for "failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain his best possible placing, and banned him accordingly".
Given that horse racing is a sport rife with possible double entendre pitfalls, maybe Sky Sports should have been a little more circumspect with their headline regarding the ban - especially when you take into account the name of the horse.
Presumably David will also be sending a note of apology to Rory's sister.
