Robin Des Mana won the 2:35 at Clonmel on Thursday afternoon. The 7/2 favourite had Jack Kennedy aboard. Though, for a few moments, it looked as though that was not going to be the case.
On the first lap of the two-mile chase, Kennedy looked like he had fallen from his ride. Hanging off the side of Robin Des Mana at one point, Kennedy miraculously managed to remount. It was a remarkable show of resolve from the young Kerryman.
That recovery by @jackkennedy15 in clonmel was miraculous#Rideoftheyear

In a race, as it was put by the commentator, which was full of "thrills and spills", Kennedy managed to hold off Kevin Brouder aboard 50/1 short Kiera Royale in the final straight.
