Today, Many Clouds looks to achieve a feat not seen since 1974 and Red Rum. That's the last time a horse won back to back Grand Nationals. If Many Clouds passes the finishing post first, it will also be three consecutive Grand National wins for Irishman Leighton Aspell.
The race will go off without Ruby Walsh who was due to ride Willie Mullins' Sir Des Champs. Walsh is out due to a fractured wrist and has been replaced by Nina Carberry.
It's the toughest race of the year to pick. You need all the help you can get to select the winner of the Grand National.
You could go with the time-tested method of sticking a pin in the paper or listen to the auld lad down the pub whose 3rd cousin's neighbour's chiropodist got a tip from a client during the week.
Or, you could take heed from our tipster table. We've collated all the tips from today's paper into one handy little page on the internet.
Of the tipsters below, the most selected horse for the race is Holywell followed by both Gallant Oscar and Last Samuri.
The race goes off at 5.15.
