With Cheltenham withdrawals still hitting many racing fans this week, we’ve got a few tips for you from Ladbrokes ahead of the evening’s racing at Dundalk.
Ladbrokes are tipping Glorious Zoff (8/1) as the best-priced contender of the day – he competes in the 5:30 race. He ran well at Cheltenham two weeks ago, but ran into trouble managing the hill towards the end of his race. Nonetheless, his result there was an unfair reflection on the strength of his run.

His only start at this track resulted in a good win in January and, as he returns to the flat, there’s plenty of room for improvement. Drakensburg – who finished third in that race in January – has gone on to win twice since.
The other contenders to watch are Thunder Kiss and Alghazaal, but both are lacking in fitness, which could hurt them at the back end of the race. Glorious Zoff is available at long odds and Ladbrokes expect Sam Ewing to sit him out the back early, pick off his rivals in the straight and deliver him in the final 100 yards to win.
TIP: Glorious Zoff (8/1) in the 5:30 at Dundalk
There are eight races to look forward to at Dundalk this evening, with the first kicking off at 4:30 and one every half-hour from then on in. Ladbrokes have all the tips from the Racing Post and Sun available on their site now – make sure to tune in for what’s sure to be a great evening of racing.
