It was business as usual for Australian superstar Black Caviar and she was as impressive as ever in recording her 24th victory in a row, claiming the Group One Hacer Group William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley in Australia on Friday.
The Australian bred mare was having just her second start since her near miss at Royal Ascot last year and having eased to the front turning for home, she didn’t have to come out of second gear to record a three length success. Trainer Peter Moody has outlined the Group One TJ Smith Stakes over six furlongs at Randwick on April 13 as her next possible target.
