The highlight of the golfing calendar, the US Masters, starts this weekend as a host of the sport's finest competitors descend on Georgia to try and win the famous green jacket. Sergio Garcia is looking to defend his title, but a certain Northern Irishman will be gunning for his first win at Augusta National. If you're planning on sitting on the couch and watching the action unfold on your television for the rest of the week, here's when the Master starts and when Rory McIlroy will tee-off.
What Time Does The Masters Start?
The Masters will run from 5-8 April at Augusta National Golf Club. The tournament begins at 8am in the United States, meaning proceedings will get underway from 1pm Irish and UK time.
When Does Rory McIlroy Tee Off?
Rory McIlroy will tee-off at 6.38pm Irish time alongside Adam Scott and Jon Rahm. The Holywood native is desperate to finally get a victory on the famous course, but he will face stiff competition from the likes of Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Justin Rose.
McIlroy is currently third favourite behind Speith and Thomas but also of interest will be Tiger Woods, who is a ridiculously short 12-1. Woods tees off at 3.42pm Irish time, while defending champion Sergio Garcia tees off at 3.53pm Irish time.
