With the weeks ahead of the Masters beginning to dwindle, Rory McIlroy is desperately searching for form ahead of an assault upon what would be his maiden Green Jacket. At Doral a fortnight ago, McIlroy played brilliantly for three days only to wobble and fall out of contention on the final day.
McIlroy's experience this week at Bay Hill was the opposite: he just about made the cut on Friday and remained way out of contention, only to rally and turn in his best round of the weekend on the Sunday.
Yesterday, McIlroy shot an error-strewn 75, featuring three double-bogeys that left him 16 shots off the lead.
McIlroy recovered today, ending with a 65. He saved the best for last, with this incredible putt on the 18th:

What a putt. Let's hope Rory can keep that momentum rolling.
