A great start for the Irish contingent at the Regnum Carya Golf Course in Turkey.
Padraig Harrington demonstrated his outstanding short game once again earlier today at the Turkish Airlines Open as the Dubliner nailed a superb up-and-down from the woods to the green.
The three-time major winner, currently tied for 7th place in the tournament halfway through his round, found himself with a ridiculous lie right beside a tree on the 2nd hole this morning.
Not a bother to Padraig. He proceeded to position himself in alignment with the tree, lean across and chip to the green to save par.

The 46-year-old is in fine form of late. He shot a six-under-par 65 yesterday and has openly discussed his desire to win this tournament and put himself in contention for a Ryder Cup spot next year in Paris.
He hasn't played at the Ryder Cup since 2010 but in form like this a return is a definite possibility.
Meanwhile, Shane Lowry endured a more unfortunate fate during his round when his superbly hit tee-off looked destined for a hole-in-one only for the ball to hit the flag and bounce away.

Lowry has also started well at the tournament firing a three under par round of 68 during his opening round yesterday, but has torn it up today, jumping to 2nd place in the tournament.
