In the highlights of the EA Sports Tiger Woods games included some fantastic soundtracks, interesting courses, and the ability to create some outrageous swings that would never work in real life.
My particular favourite was making your golfer drop his ass on the backswing before launching it down the fairway. Why all the nostalgia about the Tiger Woods games? Irish golfer Paul Dunne had a swing in the Jo'burg Open today that's reminiscint of those crazy video game swing:

It's a beautiful ducking swing complete with a baseball like twirl over his head.
It was a good day for Dunne who continued his surge up the leaderboard. The Greystones golfer lies just two shots off the lead after an impressive 68 that had four birdies in his first eight holes. It came undone for Dunne on the back nine with a double bogey on the 11th, and another bogey on the 17th after that drive.
It's great to see Dunne contending for a tournament so early in his professional career.
