Joohyung Kim, or Tom Kim as he's more affectionately known as, has continued to win over the hearts and minds of the American people with his passionate performances at the ongoing President's Cup.
The world no. 22 is now a bonafide 'fan favourite', and has been serving the crowd high-quality entertainment, with powerful fist pumps, walk-in putts, and stoking the gallery before teeing off.
The United States currently hold a commanding 10-4 over the international team at the President's Cup, but Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim are currently leading Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffle, 1up thru 2.
The International Team has only won the trophy once, when a Peter Thompson captained side defeated Jack Nicklaus' United States team.

A question often asked of Tom Kim is how he came to get that name, and it turns out that it is related to a certain children's TV show.
“Do you guys really want to know?," said Tom Kim. "I was a big Toy Story fan, so I almost named myself Buzz Lightyear. That was a close one; there’s a few more. It’s actually, it’s not an English character, it’s actually an Asian character, but Buzz Lightyear was probably the closest one to Thomas.
“It’s just a stubborn me, like you’re supposed to let your parents name yourself and I was like, ‘Nope, I’m to name myself Thomas. I loved the show as a kid…apparently I really loved the train. I was like, you know what, I’m going to name myself Thomas. I haven’t told anyone this, but I’ve actually had a few more names that I could have named myself and I’m glad I didn’t, but I went with Thomas. And as years went on, people started calling me Tom, it was shorter, so I kind of went with Tom after that.”
