After making his way through the front 9 of this afternoon's final round in the Open Championship, Tiger Woods found himself all alone at the top of the leaderboard.
In what was far from a flawless performance, the 14-time Major winner nevertheless looked calm, collected and was sinking his putts with alarming regularity and ease.
It has, needless to say, taken people by surprise.

Teeing off before yesterday's leaders, Tiger Woods will finish up before his primary opponents. However, with the way things are going, it is looking like Woods is going to be involved right up until the Claret Jug is handed over this evening.
On the fourth, Woods sunk this particular putt that really seemed to kick him into gear, and convince people, despite all available doubts, that something special may be happening in Carnoustie.
Here we go. @TigerWoods with the birdie.
