Tiger Woods' agent has rejected reports that the golfer is struggling to walk owing to a back injury.
Woods has not played a tournament since August, and golf writer Robert Lusetich - author of Unplayable: An Inside Account Of Tiger's Most Tumultuous Season - claimed over the weekend that Woods' physical state had regressed to the point that he is struggling to walk and needs a driver (a chauffeur, rather than a golf club to act as a crutch, as certain writers with this site may have initially thought when they read this) to take him anywhere.
I'm told #TigerWoods condition worsened. He can't move well; painful to sit. Sits in car with seat fully reclined. No forseeable return. Sad

Woods' agent Mark Steinberg has come out and fully rejected the claims, and was fiercely critical of the origin of the rumours:
The tweets that appeared this weekend about Tiger's health are ridiculous and absolutely false. It's reprehensible that every few months someone makes something up and it's treated like a real story.
Tiger continues to work on his rehabilitation and we will have an accurate update at the appropriate time.
No official update on Woods has emerged from his camp since December when it was confirmed that he had yet to begin rehab following surgery on his back. It may be a forlorn wish, but we hope Woods can get back to being competitive sooner rather than later.
