Play has been suspended until at least 10am at The Open and when you look at these photos is quite obvious why. The weather has been nothing but dreadful through the night and early this morning, leaving the course waterlogged and many people with soaked socks no doubt.
The outlook for this morning isn't great, with rain not expected to clear until at least 11am and one would imagine it will take a couple of hours for water to drain off the course when the weather does eventually ease.
Sure they may roof it I suppose.
